Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao Unfollowed Elon Musk on Twitter

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao recently unfollowed Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, on Twitter. This move has garnered attention within the crypto community and has led to various speculations.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao recently stopped following Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, on Twitter. This move has caught the attention of the crypto community and has led to various speculations.

A spokesperson for Binance stated to The Block that the $500 million investment Binance made in Twitter last year is still valid and there have been no changes. They also declined to comment on Changpeng Zhao’s decision to stop following Elon Musk.

Did they break up due to Twitter partnering with eToro instead of Binance?

This development has sparked a lot of speculation among crypto enthusiasts. A Twitter user named Lucra claims that the reason for Zhao unfollowing Musk could be due to Twitter partnering with eToro instead of Binance. Last month, eToro announced a partnership with Twitter to provide a service that allows users to view real-time prices of various assets and invest through eToro.

Additionally, it is also observed that Elon Musk does not follow Changpeng Zhao on Twitter.

When Elon Musk acquired Twitter for $44 billion, Binance had made a $500 million investment in Twitter to support Elon Musk.

“We are excited to be able to assist Elon in realizing a new vision for Twitter.”

However, it is believed that there has been a rift between Elon Musk and Changpeng Zhao after Elon Musk resigned as CEO of Twitter and handed over the reins to the new CEO, Linda Yaccarino. Elon Musk stated that he would focus on product design and new technologies, while the new CEO would concentrate on commercial operations for Twitter.

“I am eagerly looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into an all-encompassing application, X.”

While the reasons behind the Binance CEO’s decision to stop following Elon Musk are not yet known, there were speculations about a potential partnership between Binance and Twitter, such as the Twitter and eToro partnership. However, based on the recent developments, such a partnership doesn’t seem very likely. We will continue to provide updates as new developments emerge.
