Amitt Mahajan’s Vision

Amitt Mahajan, known as the creator of FarmVille, has had significant success in the gaming industry. Drawing inspiration from his experiences in the gaming world, Mahajan founded Proof of Play. The aim of this new venture is to provide players with fun and interactive blockchain games.

Mahajan highlights the changing dynamics in the gaming world, particularly after FarmVille’s closure in 2020, which led to billions of hours of gameplay, creativity, and investment leaving the market. This realization compelled Mahajan to find a better way to make games more innovative and engaging.

“I’ve seen firsthand the energy and story players put into the games they love. But when FarmVille shut down in 2020, billions of hours of gameplay, creativity, and investment were lost. With that awareness, I felt an obligation to find a better way to make games timeless.”

The game “Pirate Nation” was developed by veteran players from well-known technology and entertainment companies. These companies include Epic Games, Zynga, EA, Riot Games, Activision, Google, Facebook, Disney, and Warner Brothers. This collaboration enhances the game’s potential and appeal.
