Web3 Social Platform Sleek Completes Token Round, Raises $5 Million in Seed Funding
Among the investors in the round are leading names in the cryptocurrency sector, including Binance Labs, Shima Capital, Spartan Group, Sembolic Capital, Market Across, and Big Brain Holdings.
Sleek’s co-founder Tania Tse noted that the funding was secured through a Simple Agreement for Future Tokens (SAFT). No official statement was made regarding the round’s valuation, but according to The Block, a source with direct knowledge of the matter stated that Sleek’s valuation in this round was $50 million.
Launched officially in April 2023, Sleek is described as a blockchain-based social media platform. The platform allows users to interact with each other through a card and a Telegram bot.
