Michael Lewis, a renowned author known for works like “The Big Short” and “Flash Boys” that delve into the world of finance, has written a detailed account of Sam Bankman-Fried’s life in his new book.
According to the claims in the book, Sam Bankman-Fried at one point planned to make a substantial payment to convince Donald Trump not to run for the presidency of the United States.

However, after the bankruptcy events unfolded, Bankman-Fried did not have the opportunity to make this 5 billion-dollar payment. Mark Botnick, a spokesperson for SBF, refrained from making any comments regarding this payment.
Facing a Possible 115-Year Prison Sentence
Sam Bankman-Fried is expected to appear in court today. However, it is estimated that if the court finds Bankman-Fried guilty of all charges at the end of the four-to-five-week trial, he could potentially face a 115-year prison sentence.
