Coinbase announces Coinbase International Exchange. Non-US jurisdictions can now trade BTC and ETH perpetual futures contracts up to 5x leverage.

Coinbase, a secure online platform for buying, selling, transferring and storing cryptocurrencies, has announced Coinbase International Exchange. Coinbase International Exchange is a new institutional platform designed for crypto derivatives trading.

“Coinbase International Exchange will enable corporate users located in eligible jurisdictions outside the US to trade perpetual futures,” the company said. “Perpetual futures accounted for around 75% of global crypto trading volume in 2022, creating highly liquid markets and giving traders added versatility in their trading strategies.”

According to the official announcement, Coinbase International Exchange listed BTC and ETH perpetual futures contracts earlier today. All transactions are traded in USDC parity. Contracts offer up to 5x leverage initially.
