Important Step from Coinbase: Now Launches Spot Crypto Trading Outside the USA

Coinbase aims to provide more comprehensive services to both institutional and retail clients by offering spot crypto services outside the United States as well.

Coinbase, expanding its international presence, has launched spot trading services for institutions outside the United States. The company had previously started offering derivative trading services for non-U.S. institutional clients earlier this year.

“We will list BTC-USDC and ETH-USDC pairs through API access for institutional clients outside the United States only.”
Providing More Comprehensive Services

Coinbase’s international branch has announced its goal to offer more comprehensive services to both institutional and retail clients in the coming months, along with the addition of digital assets to the platform. The spot trading service provided by the company aims to enhance diversity and liquidity by providing customers with access to a broader cryptocurrency portfolio.

“In the third quarter of 2023, we onboarded over 100 institutions with a combined continuous futures trading volume of approximately $10 billion.”
