Recently, The Sandbox announced in an official blog post that they have partnered with security solutions provider Ledger Enterprise. This partnership will be carried out as part of several initiatives. The Sandbox will appear as a dApp on Ledger Enterprise and will also be integrated as a specific window element into the Ledger Live desktop application. Additionally, the plan is to transfer all NFTs in The Sandbox collection wallet to the Ledger Enterprise wallet.
The aim of The Sandbox is to gain access to Ledger Enterprise by reaching out to the ecosystem of LAND owners. In return, Ledger will introduce the metaverse to its clients. With this partnership, the goal is to promote cryptocurrency education in the metaverse and achieve growth in this field.
Sandbox offers a digital world that can be used not only for metaverse gaming but also for education, art, and other sectors. Sandbox provides innovative solutions such as NFTs (unique digital assets) that are used for the management and transaction of digital assets.
This partnership also demonstrates a commitment to the security of blockchain-based businesses by ensuring the security of Sandbox users’ digital assets.
First Step to Security from Sandbox
The partnership between The Sandbox and Ledger began with crypto security in 2022. This partnership, which started in 2022, came to life in The Sandbox’s metaverse with a game called School of Block to promote crypto security education.
In addition to collaborating on crypto security, The Sandbox has also established a broad partnership network by partnering with both internal and external big names such as Snoop Dogg, Gucci, Tim, Atari, HSBC, and Warner Music Group on the metaverse platform.
On the other hand, Ledger raised $109 million in May of last year and the company’s value rose to $1.4 billion with the expansion of the C Series financing round. These funds will be used to increase production, develop new products, and expand the distribution network.
The Sandbox is also making efforts to expand its partnership network. The company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Arabian government in February 2023, promising to explore, recommend, and support each other.
