280 ETH Was Stolen from Maestro Telegram Bot as a Result of Security Vulnerability

After a security vulnerability in the Maestro bot led to the theft of 280 ETH, the team promised to make refunds to the affected users.

Maestro, one of the leading Telegram bot projects in the crypto world, fell victim to a $500,000 theft as a result of a critical security vulnerability in the Router2 contract.

Promised to Refund Its Users

Only 30 minutes after the theft occurred, the Maestro team swiftly took action to resolve the issue and pledged to reimburse affected users. In order to address the security vulnerability and prevent further damage, they replaced the Router2 contract with a secure Counter contract.

Lastly, with this move, the Maestro team effectively froze all routing operations and also prevented any unauthorized transfers.
