Binance has seen changes in its management team in the UK. The recent departure of Jonathan Farnell in September, who served as the chief of Binance UK and the CEO of Bifinity, has drawn attention.
Binance France’s administrative director, Stéphanie Cabossioras, also resigned recently.
Amidst Legal Battle with the SEC, Internal Departures Continue at Binance
According to his LinkedIn profile, Farnell also serves as the CEO of Eqonex. Besides Farnell, Binance lost its Global Product Leader, Mayur Kamat, a few months ago. These consecutive departures among the company’s senior executives are seen as a reflection of Binance’s ongoing lawsuit with the SEC and the regulatory challenges it faces globally.
Farnell played a critical role in Binance’s efforts to comply with regulations in the UK. Joining Binance from eToro in 2021, Farnell initially began his role focusing on compliance before being promoted to lead Binance UK shortly after.
